Whether you are interested in joining a committee that is short-term, long-term, one that
is closely associated with your business, or one that will do the most good for others,
BANI has a committee that's right for you.Remodelers
Showcase - The Remodelers Showcase is an annual event, held in the Spring, where
remodelers are given the opportunity to showcase their skills. It is also a good
opportunity for suppliers, such as appliance dealers, door and window suppliers, etc. to
market their products to the public.
Golf Outing - BANI sponsors an annual Golf Outing each summer. It
is a chance for members and those they work closely with to get together, network and
simply have fun!
Parade of Homes - Another annual event, and also the most recognized, the
Parade of Homes provides builders with a forum in which they can spotlight their talents
and abilities. Again, this is also an excellent opportunity for associate members to
feature their products and services. There can be many faucets of this committee,
such as the VIP party committee, Marketing committee, Sponsorship committee,
etc. There really is so much to be accomplished that there is room for everyone to
be involved in some aspect or another.
Membership - The most important ingredient in a successful Association is
its members. Without members....well, there can be no Association. This is an
on-going committee. However, unlike some of the short-term event committees, it is
not as high pressure.
Scholarship - BANI feels strongly that we need to aide in the education
of today's youth as much as we can and yearly we award 3 scholarships (one
in each county we represent) to a graduating senior who is pursuing the
construction field.
Community Project - The Builders Association sponsors a project each year
to benefit the community. In 1999, BANI organized "Castles for Kids"
to raise funds for the Steuben County YMCA construction. Builders and Associate
members donated services, supplies and their time to build playhouses that were given away
by means of a public raffle.
Programs - The monthly general membership meetings are an important part
of the Association. This is a time each month where members have the opportunity to
network with other members. This committee is in charge of scheduling programs for
the meetings that are both educational and interesting.
